I only watched the beginning of the first episode so far and tbh I kept expecting Ezio to appear any moment. :P AC would definitely make for an awesome show and probably get quite popular! I heard they’re already planning a movie, though.

You should watch the rest and the following episodes.They keep getting better.The plot and the ambiance of the show are really great.You expected that too?Same here! :D This TV show is the proof that a TV series of the AC saga would be huge and get well with the audience.It just works. :) Yeah,i’ve heard that too,which is awesome.Michael Fassbender is in it and he’s helping funding the movie.I’m not sure what character he will be,if it’s Altair or Desmond or both.

He’s the first illustrator of The Lord of the Rings, and since I fell in love with this (I’m into TLOR from 2001, but I could read the novel just now) I can’t ignore him.

I think he uses water colors and pastel, he was born around 50s so it’s usual that his style looks like quite old. But very fascinating.

First time I saw his picture was on our copy of Special Edition of The Fellowship of the Ring (at home we have just the first film T.T), it was a rappresentation of ‘Nanosterro’ -I don’t know how to call this in english, anyway it is the Big Place in Moria, where the Fellowship was attacked by orcs.

Soon I’m going to do some survey about him and his art, but right now enjoy the results on Google Image, is very exhaustive :)

Although i’m loving GOT so far,i’m more excited for the series finale of Da Vinci’s Demons.It had a slow start but it got better along the way.Everything reminds of Ezio and ACII. :D And the soundtrack is pretty similar in what you hear when you’re playing ACII.Which makes me question,why the hell they don’t make a TV series of Assassin’s Creed?Da Vinci’s Demons is the proof that is doable and can make it in the TV world.It could be inspired by the books that Oliver Bowden has written.I say that because in the books the Desmond parts aren’t included.Anyways,the last episode “The Devil” was creepy and awesome as shit!The encounter with Vlad III a.k.a. Dracula was really good and intense.The character Vlad III was really weird,mad and creepy as hell.The actor nailed it,if that was the intent of portraying him.That was not all.The plot with the Sons Of Mithra and the Book Of The Leaves deepens and all that philosophical conversation The Turk had with Leonardo was great.And i was impressed how aggressive was the Pope in this episode.Didn’t see that coming. :D Hope it gets better from here.

This exhibition at Green Hill Arts in Moretonhampstead (Devon, UK) will feature work by Chagford artists Alan Lee, Virginia Lee, Brian & Wendy Froud, David Wyatt, Rima Staines, and yours truly, along with three other artists inspired by Dartmoor: Hazel Brown, Paul Kidby, and Neil Wilkinson Cave.

The show is running most of the summer, so if you’re local or making a trip down to Devon, keep it in mind…

If Earth Had Rings

First off, they would be really pretty to look at. They would also dominate the sky in both night and day at exactly the same place as they would never rise nor set. And at night you would see the Earth’s shadow swing across the rings, like in the 4th photo here.

However, life would be very different on Earth if this were the case. Nocturnal animals would have a hard time being nocturnal, as the light reflecting from the rings would illuminate the night.

Because we are closer to the Sun than Saturn is, the rings would be more rocky than ice, making them less bright but still pretty bright. In fact, you would see far less stars at night (living anywhere other than the equator or the arctic circle) because of the light pollution and not to mention ruin most meteor showers because of that.

During the day the rings would block sunlight in certain regions of the planet creating wild weather cycles and effecting plant life as well. So basically, they would be definitely pretty to look at but they would also make a whole lot of things screwy.
